Hi, I am Ajay Kumar, I am Assistant Professor at Dept. of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University. I was born and grew up in small town Nawada which is part of the famous ancient Magadh division of south Bihar. I finished my schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidayala, Rewar, Nawda and moved to Delhi for Higher education. I joined BHU in July 2020 after spending last few years in United States as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow, Research Intern and Research Scholar at Purdue University, Northwestern Universty, Fermilab respectively and later at Sri Aurobindo College(M),Delhi University as Assistant Professor. I received my Ph.D. from University of Delhi in 2016. My thesis Topic was: “Search for the SM Higgs boson in the H → WW → lνjj & Probe of WW Production in Vector Boson Fusion Topology in the CMS Experiment at the LHC”. My graduate research work was completed at CERN, Fermilab and University of Delhi.
